This process provides greater accuracy, higher productivity, more flexibility and cost savings when compared to cylindrical grinding. These machines are able to achieve form and size accuracies between 0.1 - 2 micron and surface finishes of 0.1 – 0.4 Ra in hardened workpieces up to 68 HRC.
