As a previous state owned company we design and built since 1973 as independent machine manufacturer almo
st wear free, fully hydrostatic ultra precision hard turning machines. The Hembrug Mikroturn® machine series represent more than 40 years of experience and expertise in hydrostatics and ultra-precision hard turning technology and are able to achieve the highest accuracy that is currently possible with hard turning. The Hembrug Mikroturn® machine series can achieve the following tolerances in workpieces having hardness 58 – 62 HRC up to a diameter of 1500 mm.
- Surface finish accuracies 0,0001 – 0,0004 mm
- Form accuracies 0,0002 – 0,001 mm
- Size accuracies ≤ 0,002 mm
We offer the technological solution for manufacturers that use grinding as main production method, but are looking for a technology that brings improved productivity, improved workpiece accuracy, longer tool life and all against lower costs.
